I’ve uploaded all the pages for the house section. So, if they work, you can see all the current pictures of our house. It’s been raining a lot here today – which is nice, but makes our dog smell really bad.

The Remodeling Journals: Under the Counter Lights
Not much going on with the house – we have under the counter lights done on one side now. I’m looking forward to a 4 day weekend – I am caught up at work and get to relax for my first “vacation” since I started. Nice….
Update on Life
Three new sections are up and running now… running where, I don’t know, but… “Matt’s art” is fully ready to go, there are a few links on the “Links” page, and “Our House” now at least has a map and pictures of our kitchen work in progress. We found out our destination for our school trip, and, well, it’ not what we wanted. I don’t know if we can say yet what it is though, but more details will be coming.
The Remodeling Journals: Finally a Functional Kitchen
Well, I never said I would do daily posts… But we now have a functional kitchen! I took a crash course in plumbing and installed an entire sink! For those who are keeping count, we have now learned tiling, sheet rocking, building walls, wiring, painting, and now plumbing. I wonder if I should change careers….
The Remodeling Journals: Matching Counter Tops
Now our counter tops actually match. We are a few hours away from a functional kitchen! Katie is getting ready for her new teaching position. She seems to be one of the few graduate assistants that has teaching experience. So that means she’ll be the best, right?
The Remodeling Journals of Katie and Matt, Continued
I just found out that the cool navigation menu I had is a copyrighted program that I haven’t bought – and don’t want to pay for. Oh, well…. back to square one.
Our A/C is finally fixed! Today we get the new counter top, and then get our new sink in. We may finally have a functioning house soon!
There are Some Cool Degrees Out There
I was looking at different programs on the web yesterday and I came across this one: Master’s Degree in Ethnic Arts for Christians. What do you do for a job with that one? Sometimes don’t you wish you could just get a cool degree like that and not have to worry about whether or not you can be employed afterwards?
The Remodeling Journals of Katie and Matt
Our week of roughing it: no A/C or kitchen sink. If you stop by, expect a meal served on paper plates. Ahhh… the joys of remodeling 🙂
