Site Maintenance

Katie and Matt Blog

I finally cracked into the PHP and fixed the comments page so that you can use any punctuation. I had to get that one fixed for Creecy. He has enough stress with living in the ‘burbs, so I don’t want to add anymore 🙂

Also, I fixed some of the broken links in the section under Web Sites I have Designed. (thanks to my brother for the heads up on that one)

Health Wize

I just finished another round of classes, so here is another class project:

This is a health site designed for the neighborhood that Katie works in.

I’ve always wondered if those HOV lanes really are worth it. But last week, we were going out to visit the site of our future house and decided to use the HOV. It was great zooming past all of the traffic clogging the highway. We were laughing, until we realized that this would be the mess WE would have to deal with if we moved to this city. So we decided to get a house somewhere else.

He’s Not a Tame Lion

While we were watching “Sky High” last night (which was a funny, but fairly predictable film – what else do you expect from Disney?) they had a preview of “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.” I’ve seen the trailers online. They looked pretty cool, but I have to say this one looked very impressive on the big screen. I can’t wait to see that movie now.

I also have to gripe about big trucks/SUVs/tanks/Urban Assault Vehicles – just because they make parking so dangerous for us. People who dive these things seem to LOVE to park next to us! When backing up, we can’t see around these monstrosities to know if there is a souped-up turbo junkie showing off for the girl he just spotted walking to her car – as if she would care. So, we just have to say a prayer, and easy out slowly until we are around Mt. I-Wanna-Smash-You-Little-Bitty-Cars or we feel a strong jolt.

So what are the other movies we have been seeing lately? “The Pacifier,” “Monster-In-Law,” and “Guess Who.” We love the dollar theater!
