Well, the plan is to get some tile work done this weekend. Of course, that can be easier said tan done – we want to tile the floor of the kitchen. Which means we really need to remove about 7 layers of old linoleum and tile before adding our layer (or we could just build a step up into the kitchen).

Our fund raiser went great – everyone had a lot of fun and we didn’t have to stay up as late putting up chairs this year (but they were still re-arranging them the next morning in church, so I wonder if we really did as good a job…)

I guess we have spent more time planning future stuff for the house instead of actually working on it 🙂 Katie did paint some more of the cabinets, while I had to move the phone box to a “puppy-safe” height.

Well, this weekend, I put in a whole A/C vent cover….. ohhhh…. ahhhh….. We were gone on a retreat to Spring, TX, so we really didn’t get to work on the house. That and Katie had a killer project to finish for class.

This week end we did… once again… nothing on our house. It was a weekend of Birthday parties and a wedding. The wedding was at a really cool church that was well designed. Instead of stained glass, it has clear windows that you could see the scenery out of. But all the events were fun. Maybe next weekend we’ll get work done 🙂

Not much going on with the house – we have under the counter lights done on one side now. I’m looking forward to a 4 day weekend – I am caught up at work and get to relax for my first “vacation” since I started. Nice….
