Electricity and Internet
  • As a convenience to exhibitors, please note that the cost of electricity (20 amp duplex), internet connection (10/100 ethernet drop), and carpeting is included in the booth package price. There is no need for exhibitors to make advanced arrangements for internet or electricity unless a dedicated T1 line or higher amp electrical connection is needed.

Freight, Shipments and Materials Handling
  • TxDLA strongly encourages exhibitors to ship booth items directly to the Convention Decorating Services (CDS) advance warehouse for this show. Advanced shipment directly to the Westin Hotel is highly discouraged for this show. While freight will still be accepted at the Westin Hotel from 3-5 days prior to move-in (no freight services on exhibits set-up day - Sunday), sending items to the CDS advance warehouse provides a more seamless start to the show, and allows freight to be delivered to booths more quickly and efficiently. Because the Westin Hotel will NOT deliver booth contents to the exhibit hall, vendors who ship items directly to the Westin Hotel will still be charged by CDS for moving freight from the hotel shipping department to the exhibit hall.

  • Exhibitors bringing their own freight may move it in by hand or by two-wheeled dollies, but CDS staff must move in anything larger requiring pallet jacks, 4-wheel carts, etc. and exhibitor will be charged material handling by CDS.
