We were lucky to see the sun yesterday and it has begun warming up the day very nicely again. Some of our group traveled back yesterday and the rest of us will be making our way back to the DFW region today and through the weekend.
Our conference experience together has afforded us the opportunity to get to know each other better and to have the time to discuss ideas from the conference as well as concerns and plans for our programs. How very fortunate we are! For this last conference post, let’s point out one take-away from our conference experience. There are many thoughts swirling and possibilities that are brewing, but for now, just focus on one. Something small, something big, some little germ of an idea. Your choice!

There is a lot that is happening in the connected world at the intersection of technology/pedagogy/content knowledge. This conference brought together under “one roof” the challenges, the inspiration, the opportunities, and the fears that change brings. I hope that we use our tools and methods wisely. I do know that UT Arlington has a lot of dedicated, inspiring, and amazing people, whose knowledge, experience, and understanding, when brought together, can — and does — make the world a better place. Thank you for allowing me to share this journey with you in my own way.
