The walls have been painted, the ceiling lighting and tiles updated, and new carpeting installed. The old delapidated cabinets have been replaced with clean crisp cabinetry and there is a sink with running water! LINK Lab staff are working with BMK Total Office of Texas in designing the space to fit the needs of a 21st century educational research space. Mediascape furniture will complement a state of the art video conference system. Touch screen work areas will be located both horizontally and vertically with power and data connections. A 3-D printer and haptic devices will be in the house for trial and observation. We will be researching and experimenting with technology that will impact what, when, where, and how knowledge will be generated and shared! After we get our space arranged and installed, we hope you will drop in for a visit–either locally or at a distance.
