Old Sites and Archives
Here it is - a graveyard for all of the old sites that I have designed or written something for. Some of these are not pretty - they were just early attempts to make something. But I like to archive things, so here they are.

Adam Again Website: I was brought in to clean up and modernize the Adam Again tribute website
that never went live.

The Beggar's Table: An early Blogspot blog where I blogged on religious issues.
Kind of cring-y now, but I did spend a lot of time designing the layout.

Boss 95.5: My brother mostly designed this site, but asked me to come in and fix some
issues. Then he found another job and that was the end of this website.

Chatbots: I created several chatbot FAQ help sites for different classes at UTA.
I programmed these in Twine and SAP Conversational AI: Christian Ethnic Art and Worship: Website for a class on Ethnomusicology from 2003.

College Level Tutoring: Early website for Katie's brief time as a college tutor.

Crosslin's Corner: Website I set up as an informational page when I taught EDTC 3320: Instructional
Design for the Corporate Trainer.

DALMOOC 1.0 (Data Analytics, and Learning MOOC): Created this entire site for the 2014 MOOC.
Mostly made from WordPresstemplates, but highly customized.
DALMOOC 2.0: At one point, there was going to be a second version of DALMOOC.
I came up with this Matrix theme for a possible home page for it.

del.icio.us Archive: A copy of the the del.icio.us bookmarks I made between March 2007 and April 2015.

Doctoral Portfolio: My Ph.D. portfolio, exported from a customized WordPress theme.

Down the Line Zine: Slightly customized WordPress themes.
EduGeek Journal: Game Design Portfolio: An archive of various game and gamification design projects I have created or participated in through the years.

Goals, Objectives, and Competencies Lesson: Self-Mapped Pathways Lesson I built in various technologies. goodGODart: Conceptual website design for a graphic design company I considered starting in 2002.

Graduate Class Blogs:
  • EDTC6350 Blog: Archive of a reflective blog I kept for EDTC 6350: The IT Consultant - a Master's degree course in 2006.
  • Coursework Blogs: Archive of some reflective blogs I kept for CECS 6010: Theory of Instructional Technology (in 2012) and CECS 6020: Advanced Instructional Design Models and Strategies (in 2013) - two Doctoral degree courses.
  • Down the Rabbit Hole of CECS 6514: Archive of a reflective blog I kept for CECS 6514: Scaling Methods - a Doctoral degree course in 2014.
  • My CECS 6100: Archive of a reflective blog I kept for CECS 6100: Theory and Practice of Distance Education - a Doctoral degree course in 2014.
  • My ID Blog: Archive of a reflective blog I kept for CECS 5510: Tech-Based Learning Environments - a Doctoral degree course in 2015.
Health EDTECH Curriculum Websites: For a couple of years I worked for an educational publishing company that branched out into online resources. That company went under, but I created several unrealized ideas in Flash and other tools under the fictitious name of "Health EDTECH Curriculm,"
  • Original Website Upgrade: I added some buttons to the top banner that led to previews and samples.
  • Students Area: An online are for supplentary games. You can see the non-Flash version of the site, or the Flas version below.
  • E-Spy X-500: All Flash Educational Game based on an intentionally cheesy spy concept. Any username and password longer than 5 characters should get you in the game. FYI Tobacco Module 11 is probably the most interesting Technology Extesion to complete.
  • Teacher Forum: A customers-only supplemental site, envisioned to house student game controls, lesson updates, additional resourses, and previews of upcoming releases. Built on a modified version of phpBB.
  • Ideas Section: Several early ideas that were abandoned for later ideas.
Humanizing Online Learning MOOC: Another course that I designed the website for in WordPress. Jaiku Archive: Part "archive of Jaiku" and "part archive of all my jaikus that I could pull out of Archive.org."

KatieandMatt.com Archive

Knottheads on H: Tribute website to Michael Knott. Slightly customized WordPress themes. Known Archive: Known is part blog, part archive of all of the stuff you do online. I tried it for a few months between September 2014 and March 2015.

Lifegroup Online: Old attempt at creating an online website for church small groups.

LINK Research Lab Websites: Master's Degree Portfolio: Online Projects Created for my Master's degree program between 2005 and 2006.

Matt's Musings and Meanderings: I combined several blogs together and then made this into an archive of several blogs.

Mercy Place:
  • Final Version: The final version I created as a modified Moodle forum with Flash intro - combined the two parts of the first version.
  • First Version: The first version of the website I built, mostly in Flash.
  • First version of mpConnect: A separate section built out of Moodle that served as an online community portal.
  • Mercy Place Online: Original version of the online leaders area to submit and review reports. This was eventually rolled into the Moodle functionality.
Monsoon River: Mr. Crosslin's Class Online: My first website. This is the second version of the design. I used this to help my 8th grade Science students.

MySpace Profile: I managed to re-create a mock-up of my custom MySpace profile circa August 2006. The look is correct, the information is mostly correct, but some of the friend profile pics are more recent pics from Facebook. Oh, and if you click on the player it will even play the song I had playing on my profile at this time. I was trying to make a profile that reflected my heritage (Ireland) and the heritage of my wife at the time (India). I think it just ended up being bad cultural appropriation.

OLC Innovate Presentation: Chatbots, Game Theory, and AI: Adapting Learning For Humans, or Innovating Humans Out of the Picture? Pathways design with different options in Twine.

Personal Portfolio Website: Recommendations Archive: In April of 2020, right after the COVID-19 pandemic started, we were given the final news that the LINK Research Lab would be shutting down at the end of August. I sent out a tweet asking for helping looking for a new job, and these were the responses and recommendations that I received.
