Blended Learning is typically understood to be learning in which part of the face to face instruction is replaced by online learning. It goes by many other names – hybrid courses, mixed mode learning – but the idea is the digital technology replaces or enhances some face-to-face time. That’s nice, but what does that mean? Why would I want to move anything online? What should I move online? How do I do it? This PLC explores Blended Learning, focusing on questions of course design and available digital tools for creating engaging learning opportunities.
