I have been a bit busy with conferences the past two weeks, so not a whole lot of time left for reading. This video floated across my Facebook feed today, so I thought I would share. Bendable displays have been on the “futurist” radar for a while now, but this seems to be the first practical example that seems to offer something other than “bendable unbreakable screen” (which, of course, is not a bad thing if you have ever broken a screen). Some may could care less about the haptic feedback part, but it does add another dimension to many things. Not to mention it could be a tool to aid in accessibility. Of course, the video above says this is five years away, so don’t put off your next phone purchase just yet.
