Introduction

After completing this module, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the Community of Inquiry model and select several approaches for deployment based on course, student, and instructor contextual factors
  • Identify ways that they can engage and motivate students when moving online
  • Consider student needs and the cost of moving online quickly
  • Evaluate and select technology for creating and sharing content
  • Develop one full module / unit / week of online teaching, using Community of Inquiry model and the SECTIONS framework to guide development
