So, You Wanted An API

Here at Jaiku we appreciate, nay, admire your dedication and resolve in hacking around our complex system of interlocking hyperlinks (actually we tried to make it pretty easy) to build interesting tools to make your Jaikuing more prolific so we decided to give something back. We hope you'll like it stuff, and if you don't, well, just tell us what you want instead.

Choose Your Weapon

Feeds: It's read-only and all that but you probably get just most of the data you want straight from our feeds in a variety of formats.
JSON: This is the easiest place to start if you are planning on accessing the API from another website, and even if you're not most languages have a decent JSON library nowadays.
XMP-RPC: Apparently Applescript supports XML-RPC natively, so I guess we better, too.

Oh, You'll Need This

Your API Key: This a personal API key that you'll need to access pretty much anything, don't give it out anywhere you wouldn't give your password: You'll have to sign in to get a key
