Instructional Goal with Performance Context

Goal: The student will be able to examine the relationship among body composition and fitness.

Given a completed exercise chart and an updated exercise plan (CN), learners will be able to examine the relationship among body composition and fitness (B). They will complete blog entries that will be evaluated for facts contained and substantial insights into relationship among body composition and fitness. (CR).

1.   Analyze exercise analysis worksheet for lessons learned

Given a completed exercise analysis worksheet (CN), learners will be able to analyze the worksheet to determine lessons learned (B).  The learner will contribute these ideas to the blog entry to be written (CR).

2.   Analyze exercise plan for lessons learned

Given an updated exercise plan (CN), learners will be able to analyze the plan to determine lessons learned (B).  The learner will contribute these ideas to the blog entry to be written (CR).

3.  Create blog entry

Given a blog tool (CN), learners will be able to record insights into lessons learned for this activity (B).   The learner will complete blog entries that will be evaluated for facts contained and substantial insights into relationship among body composition and fitness (CR).
