Purchase Justification:
I have decided to purchase a Barricade™ g 2.4GHz 54Mbps Wireless because it has an integrated 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch and a USB port for connecting a printer. This router will allow wired connection of computers to the network and wireless 802.11g connection. This router is also backwards compatible with the 802.11b standard wireless connection. It can also work with both PC and Mac. The laptop and desktop wireless notebook cards will allow all equipment to be connected to the same workgroup and share the same printer.

The cost for this network is relatively low, especially compared to the cost of running wires through the walls. Having the freedom that this network provides will allow the people that work in the offices to become more productive.
