Kristen Eshleman is a technologist, lover of liminal spaces, and an outspoken advocate for public education, student agency and the liberal arts. The anthropologist in her is drawn to the intersections between technology and culture, with a research interest in storytelling as a vehicle for understanding transformational learning. She is currently the Director of Academic Technology and practitioner in the humanities at Davidson College, where she has partnered on projects in learning space design, hybrid pedagogy, domain of one’s own, and the digital humanities.
